Free Mount Cutler Trail
N Cheyenne Canyon Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80906
A gentle 2-mile out-and-back in North Cheyenne Cañon with a knockout summit view of Seven Falls, downtown Colorado Springs, and the eastern plains — one of the best effort-to-reward ratios in the city.
The trailhead is a small pullout partway up North Cheyenne Cañon Road — if the lot is full, keep driving and come back. The grade is steady but never steep, gaining about 500 feet to a broad summit ridge. On a clear afternoon you can see Kansas.
Connect to the Muscoco Trail for another 0.6 miles of climbing and an even quieter overlook.
