Free Monument Valley Park

A long, narrow greenway threaded along Monument Creek through the heart of downtown, perfect for a stroll, run, or family bike ride right outside the front door.
A paved trail runs the length of the park along Monument Creek and connects to the larger Pikes Peak Greenway — you can ride or run all the way to Manitou Springs from here.
Pack a picnic, rent a bike from a nearby shop, and pop out at Tejon Street for coffee. Spring runoff makes the creek lively; late summer is best for the wildflower-filled meadows on the south end.
