Fox Run Regional Park

A pine-forested 437-acre park in the Black Forest that feels like a slice of the high country — ponds, picnic shelters, and a network of easy family loops under the trees.

North of the city in the Black Forest — about 20 minutes from downtown and noticeably greener and cooler. The Aspen Meadows Loop (1.8 mi) is the classic family hike, and Fallen Timbers Pond is a short out-and-back the kids love.

Easy access to bathrooms and picnic areas. A great rainy-summer-day backup since the canopy keeps you mostly dry.
