Downtown Colorado Springs — Tejon Street

The walkable heart of Colorado Springs — about ten blocks of independent boutiques, galleries, coffee shops, and restaurants along North and South Tejon Street, anchored by Acacia Park at the north end.

Start at Acacia Park (corner of Tejon and Platte) and walk south — you’ll pass Poor Richard’s, the Pikes Peak Center, a dozen lunch spots, and the Olympic Museum before you know it. Free two-hour street parking, or use the City Auditorium garage.

Friday and Saturday nights the whole strip comes alive. Summer Saturday mornings there’s often a farmers’ market near Acacia Park.
