Free Bear Creek Regional Park

A 545-acre regional park on the city's southwest side with gardens, a nature center, archery range, dog park, and an easy trail network winding through cottonwoods.
Different from the Bear Creek Nature Center which sits inside it — the regional park has the wider trail network and large open spaces. The Bear Creek Garden Association demonstration gardens are tucked into the south side and worth a slow walk.
Off-leash dog area on the east end, archery range on the west. The Bear Creek Greenway Trail connects to Stratton Open Space if you want a longer route.
